Called Out: Epiphany

Now that the Christmas decorations have been put away and the Christmas cookies, a thing of distant memory, we find ourselves preparing for Epiphany Sunday. The word “epiphany” means manifestation, a reference to the arrival of the Magi and the manifestation of the One who comes to us as a baby born to the world. Jesus’ arrival among us hopefully comes with the recognition that his coming asks something of us. Like those travelers from the East who transverse desert and foreign border to bring their gifts and their worship, so we are called out of our ordinary “whatever,” to participate in God’s new-making work in the world.

We had trouble with live-streaming at 9 am and apologize to our Mosaic Community that we weren’t able to stream the full service. You can still hear the music by watching the Open service and Don’s sermon by watching the Sanctuary service. We appreciate you kindness and patience as we continue to work on our live-streaming.
