Denton Association Christian Women meets at FUMC Denton

This week, the United Women of Faith of FUMC Denton hosted the Denton Association Christian Women. This interdenominational, interracial group of dynamic women meet monthly in different churches to hear from a variety of community leaders and organizations learning about their services and how they can help. They have been meeting for over 50 years, taking an offering at each meeting divided between the Denton Community Food Center and another non-profit chosen by the group. At this meeting, heard a presentation by members of the FUMC Denton Workforce Housing Project planning team. We give thanks for God continuing to work in our community and for this group of women who are shining God's love in Denton and beyond!
