150 Assistance Bags Created on Maundy Thursday

Throughout March, our church family donated and gathered items to create Assistance Bags for our neighbors who stop by the church in need of support. On Maundy Thursday, as part of our evening worship, the community assembled 150 bags with handmade notes of encouragement and kindness.

Special thanks to Peg Hartung, Denise Durrance, and Peggy Lang from the Missions Committee for gathering and arranging mission items in preparation to assemble on Thursday night. And thank you to to all who donated and helped assemble. The remaining items will be assembled by our Children’s Sunday School. Thank you for the ways that you shine God’s love through your generosity and service!
