SAM (Single Adult Ministry) shares the joy of God's love with Denton area singles, age 35 & beyond, through fellowship, missions, learning and growth. SAM is committed to serving the needs of single persons in and around the city of Denton. You are encouraged to become an active part of our church ministries both as a participant in the church community as well as being a minister to others outside our church family.

SAM is an integral part of First UMC-Denton ministries and endeavors to reflect God's love to be a warm, supportive community of people who are widowed, never married, single parenting, or divorced/separated.
United Singles is a Sunday morning community, meeting in in Room 203 of the Education Building for Single adults, 35+ who have never married, are widowed or divorced. Class studies and discussions that apply to living a spiritual single life. Regular guest speakers of various topics, plus social and cultural events.
