While children of all ages are welcome to attend any of the Sunday morning worship services, child care is provided at FUMC-Denton on Sunday morning from 8:20 am until noon, Wednesday nights from 6.00 until 9:00 pm, and other times by request for meetings and special events.
The children at childcare (newborn through age 5) have many activities from which to choose. There are games, toys, puzzles, books and a craft or Bible activity planned for every session. On occasion, children will also go to the playground or play with toys in the gym. Our staff of 12 works hard to make child care a safe, loving, fun place that children enjoy and where parents feel comfortable leaving their children.
Rooms on the 1st floor of the East Wing are available for childcare, with an optimum ratio of 1 adult to 3 children for children under two years of age, and 1 adult to 10 children for children older than three years of age.
Childcare is provided free of charge for church related functions. We are here to keep your child (children) busy and happy. We are also here to make it easy for you to be active in the life of our church. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our Childcare Director.
