Service of Healing Prayers
A Service of Healing Prayers is held the second Tuesday of each month to pray for healing of mind, body, spirit or relationship
— for ourselves or for another.
In the New Testament, the words healing and salvation are very close in their meaning. While we normally think of healing
as physical and salvation as spiritual, the truth is that both are spiritual and both are physical. For that reason, the
church has always dared to follow the Bible invitation to pray for the sick. Praying for the sick does not mean that we
can cure the sick. It only means that we can pray. God is the cure giver, we are the care givers, as the Stephen Ministers
always say.
