Friday's Kids Respite

Friday's Kids is a respite program for families who have children with special needs. We provide a safe environment for parents to leave their special needs child (and siblings) for an evening of fun and games. This gives family members a respite, or break, from the additional demands sometimes associated with caring for a child with special needs. Volunteers talk with the children, play games, help with arts and crafts activities, and simply interact with the children, allowing everyone to have a fun, enjoyable evening. A coordinator and registered nurse are always on site; no medical background is required of volunteers. This program is offered for a few hours on most Friday evenings.

To sign up your child(ren) for respite, please print and fill out the following documents:
